We are always looking for
great pictures with interesting
stories behind them. Here are
two more ideas for photos we
would like to see.
Cool Cars
Do you own an awesome car,
truck, tractor or other vehicle?
It can be the prettiest, ugliest,
fastest or most-colorful
vehicle around. Send us a
picture and tell us what makes
it so special.
Hit us with your best shot
and we will pay you $25 if we
publish it.
This 1967 V W Karmann Ghia has been in the Bechard family for 18 years. Ron
Bechard restored the car after purchasing it in 1991. Sadly, Ron died soon after
the car won an all-V W show in Boise in 1993. His wife, Janet, continued to show
the car. It has had some minor changes to the paint scheme throughout the
years, and a second major restoration two years ago. “A 70-year-old grandma
cruising around in a fully custom ’67 V W Karmann Ghia is not something you
see every day,” says Janet’s son Steve, who did the latest restoration. “I have the
coolest mom around. She is ‘ The little ol’ lady from Central Oregon.’”

Hot Grills
For many, barbecuing is not
just a holiday tradition, it’s a
way of life. If that describes
you—and you have an unusual
or custom barbecue grill—we
want to hear from you. Be sure
to include a photo.
When submitting photos,
do not send originals;
send copies instead. Please
identify everyone in pictures,
including pets. Young
children in a picture will be
identified by first name only if
it is published.
Also, do not write on the
backs of photos because
the ink can transfer from
one photo to another and
ruin them. Include caption
information on a separate
piece of paper.
